By-law Enforcement

• The By-law Division is responsible for enforcing the City of Owen Sound’s By-Laws (Property Standards, Noise By-law, etc).
• Issue Sign Permits (permanent and portable) required to erect signs or other advertising devices, or awnings or marquees which project over a street;
• Downtown Parking enforcement
• Animal Shelter provides care to stray animals until owners can reclaim their pets or others have an opportunity to adopt a pet.
