The City street numbering system is easy to use. Owen Sound is divided
into east and west by Owen Sound Bay and the Sydenham River; streets and
avenues east are on the east side of this division, and streets and avenues
west are on the west side. Avenues run generally north to south numbered
from the centre out; streets run generally east to west beginning with
First Street in the south. Addresses are even numbered on the west side
of the avenues and the north side of the streets. Each block generally
represents an increase of 100 in the numbering system.
