We have a fantastic community for all of us to enjoy. Beautiful parks, breathtaking scenery and dedicated groups providing opportunities for all ages to be active. Register in one of our fine City programs or sign up with one of our recreation partners. If that is not for you, splash in the Harrison Park Pool, bike the Tom Thomson trail or skate in the Getaway Skateboard Park. Look for the City’s new BMX Park north of the Bayshore developed in partnership with Jolley’s Alternative Wheels this summer, or Owen Sound’s first artificial outdoor ice surface at Harrison Park courtesy of the Scenic City Order of Good Cheer this fall. Find family or friends to walk our beautiful City streets and enjoy our rich architectural history. Leash up your pet and take them along, it’s good for them too. Recreation Services is committed to help you get fit. Thirty minutes a day five days a week is a great start. Choose to be active! Feel great.
