Trails in Owen Sound

Walk, hike, bike or cross-country ski one of the many trails looping their way through the city.

Trail surfaces range from asphalt to dirt to packed stone dust to interlocking brick. Along the harbour’s edge, there is room for both cyclists and walkers on the walkway running from Kelso Beach to the other side of the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre.

Harrison Park’s natural paths are hard-packed, as are those along the Sydenham River. Bike paths tend to be asphalt surfaces; less-travelled city roads make scenic bike routes, too!
