Regional Recreation Centre
Overview
Located at Victoria Park, in Owen Sound, the new Regional Recreation Centre will serve the residents of Owen Sound and the surrounding area with a pool, ice, health and fitness facilities. Federal and Provincial funding announced June 8, 2009 will cover two-thirds of the cost of the estimated 32.6 million dollar project. The Owen Sound Family Y and the City are working together to develop the Centre by March 31, 2011.

Steering Committee
A committee comprised of members of Owen Sound City Council and the Owen Sound Family Y.M.C.A. to oversee the development of a regional recreation facility.
